 In what was described as an historic event whose number of attendees have never been recorded in the Cathedral Church of St. Stephens Oke Aluko, Ondo for the grand finale of the week-long activities for the Platinum Anniversary of the Diocese of Ondo, Anglican Communion which was inaugurated in 1952. The church was filled to and beyond capacity with Anglican church members, well wishers, political gladiators and well-meaning Nigerians from all walks of life to celebrate and felicitate with the platinum awards recipients at the event. In one of the core programmes of the Winrock International Nigeria, in conjunction with USAID, a remarkable capacity-building workshop has just been held for staff and members of management of the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora. The event took place between Tuesday April 26, 2022 to Thursday April 29, 2022.
