Okebukola, Sue Dale Tunnicliffe, Ogunlade and others, make case for Early Years STEM

The International Research Group (IRG) in conjunction with Commonwealth Association of Science, Technology and Mathematics Educators (CASTME) successfully hosted a virtual international seminar on "STEM Explorations in Early Years: Setting the Stage for Lifelong Learning" on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The seminar, which commenced at 2:30 pm WAT, brought together stakeholders from around the world, including formal and informal educators, researchers, and experts in the field of Early Years STEM. The event was led by Emeritus Prof. Peter Okebukola , who served as the Team lead, while Lady Dr Sue Dale Tunnicliffe, Chairperson Board of Trustees CASTME, UK and Prof. Ibiyinka Ogunlade , Director, Children-in- Science and Technology (CIST) , organizers. The St. Patrick's Anglican Church, Ijebu Owo, was filled with joy and celebration as Chief S.S. Adenegan used his 85th birthday to celebrate the church harvest ceremony as one of the 2024 chairpersons. The event, which took place on Sunday, November 17, 2024, was attended by family members, dignitaries, and well-wishers from far and wide. The church service was led by the Vicar, Ven. Dr. Olatunde Abiodun, who delivered a powerful sermon emphasizing the importance of gratitude, humility, and service to humanity. Johnson Olaniyi celebrates 70th birthday in style

Family, friends, and well-wishers gathered at the Ondo residence of Mr. Johnson Oluwafiropo Olaniyi, a one-time regional Manager in the Dangote cement industry, to celebrate his 70th birthday in a joyous and memorable ceremony. The day's low-key festivities began as early as 6:00 am with the melodious sounds of drummers, setting the tone for a celebratory atmosphere. The children of the birthday celebrant (Seun, Tope, Tosin and Omoniyi) presented him with a beautifully decorated cake, surrounded by family members who offered prayers and well-wishes for his good health and longevity. In the spirit of giving and sharing, Mr. Olaniyi (a proud Ondo kingdom elite and business mongul) and his family later visited a local orphanage home, where they celebrated with the children and spread joy and cheer.
