Awosikas host Ondo youths day as program anchor showcases ACT Ondo

The Awosikas family recently hosted Ondo Youths Day event to mark the annual Awosika day at the popular Awosika musuem strategically located in the heart of Ondo city, with Dr. Kehinde Adenegan, Acting Rector of Adeyemi College of Technology, Ondo, anchoring the program and showcasing the institution's offerings. In the opening remark of the family head, Chief Losare Benson Awosika, he appreciated the youths for participating and encouraged them to be focussed in life. In his words, "x+x = success, where the first x is sacrifice and the second x is discipline. These are what should guide you in life to face life challenges in order to excell", Ch. St. Louis old girls renovate school library, celebrate 30th year anniversary

The 1995 set of Old Girls of St. Louis Secondary School, Ondo, celebrated their 30th anniversary in grand style on December 12, 2025. The event was a poignant reunion of classmates, teachers, and memories, marking three decades of shared experiences and growth. The 3-day programme kicked off with the official opening of the renovated school library, a fitting tribute to the institution that shaped their lives. The library ceiling which was in a dilapidated state and the paints in the shadow of itself received a new baptism through the concerted efforts of the Bimbo-Foluke led ladies of remarkable virtues and glory. The celebrants also shared laughter and joy at Nibanola Recreational Centre, enjoying fun and games together after leaving the people's home where the dynamic ladies all celebrated the yuletide season with the less privileged and donated assorted food items and consumables which were acknowledged by the Rev. Rotary District Governor visits AFUED VC

Rot. Batife Funkeapo Ken, District 9126 Governor of Rotary International, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. During the visit, Rot. Ken decorated and inducted the Vice Chancellor into the Rotary Club, marking a significant milestone in the university's relationship with the organization. Following the induction ceremony, Rot. Ken Batife proceeded to a board meeting and rotary assembly meeting with members of the Rotary Club of Ondo-Adeyemi. Safety Awareness Program Held for Commercial Motorcyclists

A safety awareness program was jointly organized by the Rotary Club of Ondo-Adeyemi and Special Marshals FRSC Unit 15 of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, targeting commercial motorcyclists. The event took place at the university's sport complex on December 11, 2025. The program aimed to educate commercial motorcyclists on safety measures and road traffic regulations to reduce accidents and promote responsible riding practices. Rot. Dr. Kehinde Adenegan, President of the Rotary Club of Ondo-Adeyemi, gave the opening and closing remarks, informing attendees about the Rotary Club's mission and values, emphasizing service to humanity and promoting peace.
