Adenegan exchanges baton with Oziegbe, unveils plans for RC Ondo-Adeyemi

The Rotary Club of Ondo-Adeyemi held a handover ceremony on July 21, 2025, marking the transition from Rot. Rufus Oziegbe to Rot. Kehinde Adenegan. The event followed a detailed program, starting with a call to order, Rotary grace, and recitation of the Rotary four-way test. During the ceremony, Rot. Rufus Oziegbe handed over leadership to Rot. Kehinde Adenegan, who unveiled his 7-point agenda for the 2025/2026 term. The Falaye Science and Mathematics Olympiad (FSMO) recently held its award ceremony and prize giving day, recognizing outstanding students in Owo Local Government. Veteran educationist, Chief Bisi Ogunleye declared the event open, praising Dr. Foluso Falaye's passion for education.  Dr. Falaye emphasized the program's objective to prepare students for global competitiveness, stating, "We want to put Owo on the global map." Dr. Foluso Falaye reiterated his commitment to the growth of the students, aiming to "Put Owo On the Global Map" through the FSMO project. In his words, the anchor of the program, a first class degree holder  in Mathematics and IT guru, Dr. Kehinde Adenegan, extolled the virtues of the sponsor, Dr. Foluso Bamidele Falaye for his magnanimity and taking bold step to invest in the future of Owo youths-students with the FSMO. Farewell to a Legend: Ch. Joseph Oludapo laid to rest

  The burial of Chief Joseph Oludepo Oludapo, a revered nonagenarian, took place on July 1st and 2nd, 2025, at Ifetedo, Ondo State. The solemn occasion drew together family, friends, and community leaders to pay their last respects to a life well-lived. On Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, a wake-keep was held at St. Peters Anglican Church Ifetedo, where friends and family gathered to share memories and pay tribute to the deceased chief. The wake-keep was a poignant reminder of the impact Chief Oludapo had on those who knew him. The funeral service , held on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, was officiated by Ven. Olajide Oni, Vicar of St. Peters Anglican Church Ifetedo with other priests. In his sermon, Ven. Oni reflected on the life of Chief Oludapo, describing him as a man of great character and faith.
