The event , which kicked off at noon, drew an impressive crowd of professionals, Rotarians, captains of industries, politicians, government functionaries, parliament members, and many well-meaning Nigerians who came to witness what many described as a landmark moment in health education and advocacy in  Nigeria. Egba Diocese marks 50 years with week-long Golden Jubilee celebrations in Abeokuta. Remarkably, the Diocese of Egba, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), kicked off a week-long celebration to mark its Golden Jubilee, with the Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Oludaisi Adekunle, calling for a bold repositioning of the Church as he sounded “the shofar for a new beginning” in the 22nd century. Owo Diocese holds youths summit, tasks youths on overcoming unemployment in a challenging economy

The Diocese of Owo, Anglican Communion, has charged young people to embrace innovation, skills acquisition, and faith-driven enterprise as tools to overcome unemployment in today’s tough economy. The charge was given at the Diocesan Youths Pre-Synod Summit held on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at the Chapel of Epiphany, Owo. The summit brought together youths, clergy, and professionals from across the diocese to deliberate on practical pathways to self-reliance.  Speaking at the event, the representative of the Lord Bishop of Owo, Rt. Rev. Dr. Stephen Ayodeji Fagbemi (FICT, CFAT), The Ven. Seth Akinro, commended the diocese for prioritizing youth development. The event which showcased the Promotion of Academic Excellence and Innovation, drew education leaders, political leaders, religious heads, parents and students to celebrate the winners of the Olympiad. Adeyemi Rotary empowers visually impaired students with digital tools

July 2, 2026 | Ondo, Ondo State The Rotary Club of Ondo-Adeyemi has donated digital learning equipment to visually impaired students at Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, in a move Rotary leaders say will “create lasting impact” in inclusive education. The commissioning was held on Wednesday, June 25, 2026, immediately after the club’s “ Tea break with the President ” programme organized by the outgoing President, Rotn. Dr. Kehinde Adenegan. Dr. Adenegan’s tenure as club President comes to an end on June 30, 2026. The project was commissioned by Prof. Folorunso Ojo Balogun of the Department of Mathematics, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo.  Before the items were commissioned, Mr. Gbenga Akinbolade, the AFUED staff coordinator of the special students, demonstrated the use of the gadgets before guests, Rotarians, and Rotaractors.
