PD Consult empowers young Minds and start-up entrepreneurs in Ondo

In a bid to foster economic growth and development in Ondo State, PD Consult Ltd, led by the CEO, Mr. Mayokun Adelakun, an agriculture consultant, philanthropist and a Rotarian, recently empowered young minds and start-up entrepreneurs through a business capacity-building initiative. The event, held on August 2, 2025, at the Motherland Hotel in Ondo, saw the company distribute N200,000 each to five start-up entrepreneurs. This initiative is part of PD Consult's commitment to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly among young people. By providing financial support and mentorship, the company aims to equip these entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to succeed in their respective ventures. Veteran educationist, Chief Bisi Ogunleye declared the event open, praising Dr. Foluso Falaye's passion for education.  Dr. Falaye emphasized the program's objective to prepare students for global competitiveness, stating, "We want to put Owo on the global map." Farewell to a Legend: Ch. Joseph Oludapo laid to rest

  The burial of Chief Joseph Oludepo Oludapo, a revered nonagenarian, took place on July 1st and 2nd, 2025, at Ifetedo, Ondo State. The solemn occasion drew together family, friends, and community leaders to pay their last respects to a life well-lived. On Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, a wake-keep was held at St. Peters Anglican Church Ifetedo, where friends and family gathered to share memories and pay tribute to the deceased chief. The wake-keep was a poignant reminder of the impact Chief Oludapo had on those who knew him. The funeral service , held on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, was officiated by Ven. Olajide Oni, Vicar of St. Peters Anglican Church Ifetedo with other priests. In his sermon, Ven. Oni reflected on the life of Chief Oludapo, describing him as a man of great character and faith.
