Rotary District Governor visits AFUED VC
Rot. Batife Funkeapo Ken, District 9126 Governor of Rotary International, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
During the visit, Rot. Ken decorated and inducted the Vice Chancellor into the Rotary Club, marking a significant milestone in the university's relationship with the organization.
Following the induction ceremony, Rot. Ken Batife proceeded to a board meeting and rotary assembly meeting with members of the Rotary Club of Ondo-Adeyemi. The meetings aimed to discuss key initiatives and projects, and to strengthen the club's commitment to service and community development.
The club president, Rotarian Kehinde Adenegan welcomed the DG and promised a continued support and good relationship with the district in order to enjoy and attract more rotary benefits to the university community.
The visit was part of Rot. Ken's efforts to engage with educational institutions and promote Rotary's mission and values. The Vice Chancellor expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged the university's support for Rotary's activities in the region.
The Rotary Club of Ondo-Adeyemi is known for its community service projects, including education, healthcare, and environmental initiatives.
