Archbishop tasks Nigerians to change their hope and focus

Amidst the daunting economic and security challenges plaguing Nigeria, an Archbishop in the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion has called upon Nigerians to shift their hope and attention from man to God - their Creator. The Most Rev'd. Dr. Simon Oluwole Borokini, the Archbishop of Ondo province handed this advice to Nigerians during his opening sermon at the 41st Ondo Ecclesiastical Provincial Council Meeting   convened at the Diocese of Akure from February 12 to 13, 2024, at the esteemed St. David Cathedral. University of Ilesa hosts workshop on hostel management and administration

The University of Ilesa Osun State, in collaboration with Better Tomorrow Training Consult (BTTC) , organized a two-day workshop from 6th to 7th February 2024. The workshop focused on the central theme of “Hostel Management and Administration: Creating a Safe Haven for UNILESA Students.” The event aimed to address the critical aspects of managing and administering student hostels to ensure a safe and conducive living environment for the students. On Thursday, January 19th, 2024, the 1828 Hotel & Suites in Ondo City was abuzz with excitement as the second edition of the interschool quiz competition organized by the children of Ch. Mrs. Stella Simbiat Adeyeye took place. The event brought together some of the brightest young minds from various schools, and after a day filled with intense competition, St. Louis Girls Grammar School Ondo emerged as the champions. The interschool quiz competition, organized by the Adeyeyes, aimed to promote academic excellence and intellectual development among students from different schools in Ondo City. Ondo holds special carol and majestic praise

  The Anglican Diocese of Ondo has held a maiden tripartite end of the year program coined herald of good tidings. The program accommodated the majestic praise, Christmas Carol and priests & priests' wives end of the year get-together. In that remarkable service, the peak of the event is the special rendition of the Clergymen  which the Lord Bishop of Ondo Diocese, Rt. Revd. Dr. Stephen Adeniran Oni led the Clergymen to lead a special Rendition at the 2023 special Diocesan Christmas Carol and majestic praise held in the Cathedral church of St. Stephen, Oke Aluko Ondo.
