OBHS Old Students Association holds AGM, elects new PG and Officers
In his presidential speech, Pastor Engr Khalil Akinboboye reflected on the association's achievements and challenges, urging members to work together to take the organization to greater heights.
The Electoral Chairman, Dr. Charles Asunbiaro, a computer science lecturer at Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, oversaw the election process, ensuring a smooth and transparent exercise.
Notable attendees included Chief Akinnagbe and Chief Lofinmakin, both members of the Board of Trustees (BOT), Rev. Canon Alex Akinyotu, representing Ven. Johnson Ojumu, Vicar of St. Andrews Church Idimoge, Ven. Nelson Fadoju, a seasoned broadcaster, Mr. Alex Akintunde, VP OBHS who represented the school principal, and Pastor Adegoke Olakanmi, Assistant Chairman of the Electoral Committee.
The newly elected officers of the OBHS Old Students Association are: President General - Mr. Akinfaye Oladipupo (1988 Set), Vice President General 2 - Olaniran Taiwo (1984 Set), Secretary General, Oluwamuye Abayomi David (Set: 1995), Assistant Secretary General (Ondo Base) Adesulu Kehinde Blessing (2014 Set), Treasurer- Olabanji Martins (1985 Set). Others are Financial Secretary - Ogundoju Johnson Olusegun (1973 Set), Auditor - Olaniyi Fisayo Oluwaponmile (2004 Set), and Public Relation Officer is Oluwasola Ibukun (2005 Set)
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Sunday Akinfaye, the new PG, expressed gratitude to members for the trust reposed in him, promising to work tirelessly to advance the association's interests.
