Ebiseni tasks Nigerians to adopt the rotary four-way test
A renowned ondo state politician, historian, a lawyer by profession and a vocal public commentator, Chief Barr. Olusola Ebiseni has x-rayed the rotary four-way test and the objects of rotary by tasking Nigerians, most especially politicians to embrace and adopt the rotary four-way test in their daily life applications. This he said at the the investiture ceremony of the 11th president of the Rotary Club of Ondo-Adeyemi College on Saturday 16th September, 2023.
Ebiseni, who was the chairman at the Investiture ceremony, took his time during his official opening speech, to dissect the rotary four-way test which hinges on four pertinent questions to humanity!
Is it the Truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build goodwill and better friendship? And lastly,
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
"If these rhetorical questions are considerably used by politicians, and Nigerians, the nation will be the best place to live in", Ebiseni affirmed. He lauded the rotary club principles and the objects of rotary that centre on opportunity for service, high ethical standards in business and professions, application of the ideal of service in Rotarian lives, businesses and community life, and the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the idea of service", Ebiseni outlined.
Ebiseni also used the opportunity to welcome the Royal Majesty in attendance, the Elekusa of Ekusa, other political diginataries, Hon. Olasogba, Pastor Folu Bademosi "Asodedero", Dr. Kelvin Meyeyin, and other well meaning Nigerians at the august occasion. He lauded the attributes of the newly installed President of the Rotary Club of Ondo-Adeyemi College, Rotn Olaitan Taiwo Abiola.
Special awards of recognition, excellence and leadership were giving to deserving Nigerians including the chairman of the occasion, Chief Nehemiah Ebiseni, Dr. Kelvin Meyeyin, Pastor Folu Bademosi, Dr. Eddie Johnson, Comrade Elder Adewole Olasan, Rotn. Babatunde Apata, and Dr. Abayomi Olufemi Olajuyigbe. These highly profiled Nigeria citizens were commended for the well deserved awards as the master of ceremony, Rotn Juliet Okon, an Assistant Governor in the district 9125 of Rotary International took turn with others to read the profiles of the awardees.
In his words. Dr. Olufemi Olajuyigbe, represented by Dr. Rafiu Sanni, a zoologist and a well informed academics who is the present Dean of the School of Sciences, Adeyemi Federal University of Education remarked, "I see a lot that Rotary has done worldwide and in particular in this very campus, I am happy to be invited as father of the day in this great occasion as I wish the new President a successful tenure of office".
