Frontline school on the frontline again, holds valedictory service and prize giving day
The Frontline nursery and primary school located in the heart of Ondo City held a remarkable valedictory ceremony which was held on Wednesday 26th July 2023 at the Citadel Hall Ondo. The event was presided over by the Proprietress, Dr. Bridget Akintewe and moderated by the School Admin. Mr. Olusegun Raphael with very many parents. guests and pupils in attendance. Best students were given prizes while each class made fantastic presentations in diverse culture and ways.
It was indeed a memorable day in the heart of the pupils as well as their parents when the kindergarten, nursery two and primary six classes had the valedictory service. The pupils were full of joy and were highly excited to wear the graduation gown, taking photograph and posing in the pictures, readily flanked by their parents and teachers. Oh, what a great joy!
The admin, Mr. Olusegun Raphael, who also doubles as the headteacher of the noble coven of learning, entertained parents and guests with Yoruba poem, called ewi. Besides, the pupils performed excellently well in various cultural displays in Igbo, Yoruba and hausa presentations. To crown it all, the only prominent ondo cultural dance called obitun was displayed by the gallant pupils of the school.
In a twist, a playlet which was on caring and uncaring parents what stage by the purpose of the school it centred on admonishing parents to ensure prompt payment of their children's school fees and their welfare because they are their future.
Attributing the success of the programme to the Grace of God in her life, the proprietress of the school, Bridget Akintewe remarked "I praise God for the success of this program and for making everything to go well in the event. It's all by the Grace of God". She further appreciated parents and guests for making the great occasion.
Also granting interviews to AGES correspondents, Pastor Joseph Ogundoju appreciated God in the life of the proprietress and the school for remaining committed and steadfast to her vision. He encouraged the school to keep on in order to get to the promised land. In the same vein, the school Admin. Mr. Raphael encouraged the pupils to remain focused in the pursuit of their studies while appealing to the parents and well wishers to gracefully come to the aid of the school.
Meanwhile, the senior girl of the school, Bamidele Precious dis not hide her joy as she glorified God for granting her success in the school and promised to remain focused in her academic pursuit of becoming a female pilot in Nigeria.
The event was well attended by parents, guests and even pupils from other schools. Among those present were. Dr. Mrs. A. O. Adedayo, the Proprietress of Skye Height Nursery and primary school Ondo, Pastor Joseph Ogundoju, Mrs. Bamidele, the mother of the school senior girl, Dr. Kehinde Adenegan of AGES.
