I wrote WAEC six times! Registered Engr recounts life experience at 50

Life is not a bed of roses! No success without challenging story!! So it is with Engr. Taye Oladunni Ajayi, an Agric Engineer in the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) Ondo as he recounted his life ordeals at 50 in this video.

"I wrote WAEC six times and JAMB four times before being admitted into the polytechnic, Owo and passed through thick and thin before graduation", recalled Ajayi. He appreciated God for His goodness over his life despite all odds. "I remembered the day we were drinking Garri, in the morning, to school and we were all crying including my mother!", Ajayi sobbed while testifying to God's goodness in his life.

Taye Ajayi, popularly referred to as Pastor, made this remarkable statement at the church auditorium, CAC Oke-Ibukun Zonal Headquarters, Pa Rubber off Lipakala in Ondo while hosting family, friends and well wishers to a birthday praise and worship session.

The celebrant, who is an Ayetoro-Ekiti born registered Engr, visited the planet earth on 17th November, 1972 through the family of Late Pa Oladunni Ajayi in Ekiti State. While expressing his gratitude to the Almighty, Engr. Ajayi recalled how life was so difficult for him and his siblings while growing up.

Earlier in his words, Dr. Abayomi Olufemi Olajuyigbe, a former Acting Provost of the former Adeyemi College of Education Ondo (Now Adeyemi Federal University of Education), described the celebrant as a vibrant and dedicated person who takes his job and God's work very serious. 'He just finished the national convention of Full Gospel Business Fellowship held in Ondo among other commitments of his", Olajuyigbe added.

Meanwhile, the chairman of Kofo Ogunyankin Zone in Igoloye Community Ondo, Mr. Simeon Fagbade described Engr Ajayi as a very responsible and committed landlord. He lauded Taye Ajayi s virtues and dedication.

Others who showered encomiums on the celebrant at the event were Engr. Emmanuel Ajayi (NIEPA), CAC Pastors, Ondo West Local government staff, as well as the celebrant's siblings and in-laws.

The service was fully praise and worship session. Lady Evangelist Kemi Falaju led a wonderful praise session while the orchestral of Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) presented glorious musicals while the church choir of the celebrants were not left out.  The team of Pastors in attendance joined hands to pray for the celebrant and his family.

A great moment of the word of God was shared by one of the CAC's dynamic minister, Pastor Dr. Olowo Segun, who presented Jesus to the audience as the best Gift they could get from the celebrant for honouring his invitation.

Without mincing words, the family of Engr. Taye Ajayi, who all were dressed in gold added glamour to the occasion. The celebrant, who is married to a very brilliant chattered accountant, beautiful and quintessential Ondo woman, Gbemisola Ajayi, did not hide his feelings by thanking his darling wife, children, family and inlaw who have made his life journey smooth.

Mrs. Gbemisola Ajayi presented the closing remarks and appreciation after the cutting of the made-in-Nigeria delicious cake. The event was well attended by the celebrant's friends, family, church members, office staff and well-wishers.
