Family, friends, and well-wishers gathered at the Ondo residence of Mr. Johnson Oluwafiropo Olaniyi, a one-time regional Manager in the Dangote cement industry, to celebrate his 70th birthday in a joyous and memorable ceremony. In a significant boost to education in Owo, renowned philanthropist and education advocate, Dr. Foluso Falaye and the Falaye's family have donated sets of textbooks to 23 secondary schools participating in the Falaye Science and Mathematics Olympiad ( FSMO ) program. During the FSMO trophies and awards presentation in July 2024, Dr. Falaye had pledged to provide the necessary educational resources to enhance the learning experience for students in Owo. True to his word, the donation of thousands of textbooks covering Mathematics, English, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and ICT has been fulfilled.
