In what was described as an historic and amazing event, the District 9125 of the Rotary International comprising Abuja Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, Edo, Kwara, Kogi, Niger, Edo and few other states, hosted a programme tagged "night of culture and awards celebration" to mark the end of the Rotary year 2021/2022. At the event, held at Kakanfo Conference centre Ibadan, the district Governor, Rot. Ayo Oyedokun, welcomed all attendees and congratulated all Rotarians in the district for making the year remarkable. Awards were given to well deserved clubs, presidents and individuals. The Owo born Mathematician and ICT guru, Dr. Kehinde Emmanuel Adenegan, has been honoured with a meritorious award by the Division of Students' Affairs Adeyemi College of Education Ondo on Tuesday June 7, 2022. The church of Nigeria (Anglican communion), Diocese of Ondo hosts the Anglican Compassion and Development Initiative, ACADI orientation programme. In a two-day training held between Thursday 16 th June and Friday 17 th June, 2022 at the David and Grace Church of the Ascension, Igbo-Oja, Ondo in the Diocese.  ACADI is a pilot project of the church of Nigeria to create awareness on the use and misuse of drugs and proffer solutions to help both youths and adults involved in drugs and to prevent other future intending drug users. In a memorable service under the atmosphere of joy, peace and jubilation, Mrs Damilola Ogunfusika Oseni was installed the "Iya Ewe" of Christ Engracing Deliverance Church on Sunday 15th of May 2022 in the Church Auditorium located in the heart of Ilupeju Street, off Onyearugbulem Street, Isikan, Akure, Ondo State.  She, in company of other highly dignified members of the church were installed into different offices by the Church General Overseer, Prophetess Folasade Adekola.
