Okebukola, Sue Dale Tunnicliffe, Ogunlade and others, make case for Early Years STEM
The International Research Group (IRG) in conjunction with Commonwealth Association of Science, Technology and Mathematics Educators (CASTME) successfully hosted a virtual international seminar on "STEM Explorations in Early Years: Setting the Stage for Lifelong Learning" on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The seminar, which commenced at 2:30 pm WAT, brought together stakeholders from around the world, including formal and informal educators, researchers, and experts in the field of Early Years STEM. The event was led by Emeritus Prof. Peter Okebukola , who served as the Team lead, while Lady Dr Sue Dale Tunnicliffe, Chairperson Board of Trustees CASTME, UK and Prof. Ibiyinka Ogunlade , Director, Children-in- Science and Technology (CIST) , organizers. Both erudite scholars canvassed for the exploration of STEM in early years for lifelong learning.
