Royal union: Olowosusi, Babatunde families unite in blissful matrimony

In a majestic celebration of love and unity, Jesupemi Ayobami Olowosusi, daughter of Ven. Dr. and Mrs. Tunde-Bunmi Olowosusi of Ilututun, Ikale, exchanged vows with Olamide Muyiwa Babatunde, son of Mr. and Mrs. Babatunde from Ijebu Owo.

The traditional wedding rites, held on Friday, September 20, at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church hall, set the stage for the grand ceremony. The following day, the church was filled with joy and elegance as the couple said "I do" in a beautiful service officiated by The Rt. Rev. Dr. Stephen Oni, who solemnly joined the latest couple and publicly pronounced them "husband and wife".

Archbishop (retired) Most. Revd. Dr. Christopher Omotunde and Rt. Revd. Dr. Stephen Fagbemi bestowed episcopal blessings upon the union, sealing the holy matrimony at the service.

Guests, dressed in stunning royal blue and gold attires, filled the OFM Hall of Ondo Diocese Anglican Communion for the reception. The venue was transformed into a regal haven, complete with exquisite decor and lively entertainment.

AGES (ADEMMAK Global Events Showbiz) expertly captured the magic of the 2-day events, preserving cherished memories for the couple.

"Today, we celebrate the union of two beautiful souls,"_ said The Rt. Rev. Dr. Stephen Oni in his sermon. "May their love continue to grow, guided by faith, trust, and mutual respect."

The groom, Olamide Muyiwa Babatunde, at the reception, expressed his gratitude, saying: "I am grateful to God for this day. It's like yesterday, but this journey has culminated into a love story today."

Meanwhile, during the traditional wedding rites anchored by the gospel nightingale, Mrs. Bose Akintade, the new bride, Jesupemi affectionately addressed her husband as:" Adunmi, mine, and my beloved" when asked who is Olamide to her.

The Anglican Mothers' Union, led by Mama Ondo, Mrs. Blessing Oni, warmly welcomed the new bride into their fold.

In a show of solidarity and support, the priests from the clergy fold rallied around Ven. Dr. Tunde and Mrs. Bunmi Olowosusi, celebrating their daughter's union.

The groom's parents as well as the bride parents heartily expressed their gratitude to the teaming guests who were adorably dressed in the marriage feast uniforms. "Our joy know no bound today as we glorify God for this union and the supports received from you all", remarked Ven. Dr. Olowosusi.

Gloriously present at the event were Royal fathers, bishops, archdeacons, priests, clergy wives, government functionaries, political stalwarts, church chiefs, dignitaries, academic scholars family friends and well wishers. The groom family and church members from St. Patrick's Anglican Church Ijebu Owo massively stormed the occasion.
