Adeyeyes empower petty traders in Ondo

  In what was described as another significant and spectacular event in Ondo City on Tuesday 17th January, 2023, where some petty traders were empowered by the Adeyeye's family. This event was organized in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the demise of the late erudite scholar, teacher and astute administrator, Chief Mrs. Stella Olufunke Simbiat Adeyeye (nee Akinfolarin). The event was held at 1828 Hotes and Suites in Ondo city.   It would be recalled that Chief Mrs Stella Adeyeye died about 20 years ago on 19th January 2003. In what has been an annual event organized by the children of the late renowned Ondo-born disciplinarian and philanthropist, the family empowered 150 women who were randomly selected from the city. 2023 is going to be different from other years, Akinyemi declares

As we entered the new year, many clerics have been giving different predictions about the new year 2023. The words of Ven David Akinyemi, the vicar of St. Patrick's Anglican church Ijebu Owo in Owo Anglican Diocese, came in another significant dimension. Speaking to the congregation on the first day of the year, Akinyemi said that 2023 is special in the calendar years. "The year is unique as 2034 is the next year that will replicate the 2023 date among others which are 2045, 2054, 2079 and the like. It's not very common for the calendar years to begin with a Sunday, a day of the Lord", Akinyemi explained! He further said that any year that begins with Sunday is always special. Ondo inaugurates new ACF Chapter executive

The Anglican Christian Fellowship (ACF), Ondo chapter witnessed a new dawn on Sunday 18th December 2023 as the Lord Bishop of the Diocese inaugurated a new set of executive after the tenure of the longest serving leader, mentor and motivator, Brother Ayo Akingbule. The inauguration service was done by the Lord Bishop of Ondo Anglican Diocese, the Rt. Rev'd Dr. Stephen Adeniran Oni.  Presenting the new set of leaders to the Lord Bishop, Sir Ayo Akingbule read the presentation opening sentences in the presence of the Bishop, Chaplain (Rev. Canon Oluwagbayibi), Ven. Aratunde the Archdeacon of Ondo North West Archdeaconry and vicar of Holy Trinity Yaba Ondo, and  Rev. ACE school of science celebrates end of the year as Izuagie declares time for praise and merriments

  It is a great privilege to celebrate together! This was the statement made by Dr. Anthony Izuagie, the Dean School of Science, Adeyemi College of Education Ondo at the school 2022 end of the year party. Many are life opportunities and privileges but not every man gets such at times. This fact is not hidden from the Dean's statement as he x-rayed issues and stories around the year in the school of science. It would be recalled that the School of Science, Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo initiated this end of the year party in the year 2013 during the tenure of Dr. Folorunso Ojo Balogun and has now become an annual event in the school and even among other schools in the College.
