Olowofela and Aladenusi encounter Eden's experience at Owo

All young guys and ladies of marriageable age today wish to remarkably have the experience of garden of love in their lifetime. Things were not different as Kehinde Mark Olowofela and Busayo Ibiwumi Aladenusi signed the dotted lines in a solemnization of holy matrimony held at St. Patricks Anglican church Ijebu Owo on Saturday 28th October, 2023.

It would be recalled that it was in Eden that Adam found his best half, sister Eve, who was created from his rib, having been earlier formed from the sand by God. In the same vein, Kehinde Olowofela, an Owo indigene from Okedogbon, was fortunate to find a beautiful damsel, Busayo Ibiwumi from the Aladenusi dynasty in Ijebu-Owo kingdom, where they both tied the nuptial chord.

At the moment everyone was waiting for during the joining, the new love birds before being publicly declared husband and wife by Ven. David Akinyemi, the presiding priest at the event of the host Anglican church, Busayo and Kéhìndé declared their public vows in front of the overwhelming congregation. The vicar of the church gloriously joined Kehinde and Busayo in holy matrimony as they exchanged rings, the symbol of love as the priests in attendance prayed for them.

Meanwhile, in a thought provoking sermon delivered in prestigious Yorùbá indigenous language by the vicar of st. Patricks Anglican church Ijebu Owo, Ven. David Olu Akinyemi,  he mentioned three 'I's; Ìfé, Ìsòkan, àti Ìpinnu (Love, Unity and Determination) to sail through in the journey of marriage. He advised the couple to build their foundation on Christ, the solid rock.

The Rev. Canon Wale Olakunori said some prophetic prayers while praying for the newly wed during their thanksgiving after the joining. The bride in dazzling white gown with his hubby dressed in white and black spiced with gold tie were so joyful as they danced before the altar to show immense appreciation to God Almighty. While the Ladies Guild honoured the couple with their presence and gift, one of the bride train in the Ladies arm, Desola Asiwaju, the beautiful daughter of the former Pastor's warden of the host church, Ch. Abiodun Asiwaju and a dynamic mother and woman of substance, Lady Evengelist Jumoke Asiwaju, led the Guild team to make the presentation.

Earlier, both groom and bride parents were called to openly open the floor of goodness and favour for their children by praying for them. High Chief Aladenusi, the Aruwajin of Ijebu land, his amiable wife, and followed by High Chief Adekunle Olowofela and Mama Olowofela, who wholeheartedly prayed for their children for a great beginning.

In his own words, the Chairman of the wedding reception, a multi-talented Mathematician, YouTuber, blogger and content creator, renowned scholar, Dr. Kéhìndé Adénegàn, addressed the couple to go back at their leisure after the wedding to watch the video clips to remember the advice handed over to them in the sermon and the chairman's opening remark. Kehinde Adenegan enjoined the new couple to hold on to what is good and of good tidings so that they won't again have need to ask those who came to witness their wedding to come and witness their separation, which is not possible. The "ogagango" Owo special cultural group treated the guests to special cultural dance, and that was very attractive and amazing!

The glorious event was well attended by well meaning individuals, respected community leaders, professionals, ministers of God and the like. Among the guests present were Engr. Ch.
