The funeral of Pa Ayodele Ambrose Oke, who passed away at the age of 91 on February 14, which was a Valentine's day, was a solemn and dignified event that honored his life and legacy. The funeral service took place on March 1st at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Ayeyemi, Ondo. Prior to the burial, a remarkable christian wake keep service was held at his Ayeyemi residence in Abayomi street, where family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to pay their respects and celebrate his life. Pa Ayodele Ambrose Oke, a respected Ondo indigene, was finally laid to rest at St. Leo's cemetery to join the saints triumphant as he marched home like a valiant soldier who has seen, fought and conquered.
