Royal union: Olowosusi, Babatunde families unite in blissful matrimony

In a majestic celebration of love and unity, Jesupemi Ayobami Olowosusi, daughter of Ven. Dr. and Mrs. Tunde-Bunmi Olowosusi of Ilututun, Ikale, exchanged vows with Olamide Muyiwa Babatunde, son of Mr. and Mrs. Babatunde from Ijebu Owo. The traditional wedding rites , held on Friday, September 20, at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church hall, set the stage for the grand ceremony. The following day, the church was filled with joy and elegance as the couple said "I do" in a beautiful service officiated by The Rt. Rev. Dr. Stephen Oni, who solemnly joined the latest couple and publicly pronounced them "husband and wife". Archbishop (retired) Most. Revd. Dr. Christopher Omotunde and Rt. Revd. Dr. Stephen Fagbemi bestowed episcopal blessings upon the union, sealing the holy matrimony at the service . Falayes donate million naira textbooks to schools in Owo LGA

In a significant boost to education in Owo, renowned philanthropist and education advocate, Dr. Foluso Falaye and the Falaye's family have donated sets of textbooks to 23 secondary schools participating in the Falaye Science and Mathematics Olympiad ( FSMO ) program. During the FSMO trophies and awards presentation in July 2024, Dr. Falaye had pledged to provide the necessary educational resources to enhance the learning experience for students in Owo. True to his word, the donation of thousands of textbooks covering Mathematics, English, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and ICT has been fulfilled. The distribution was done on behalf of the Falayes by Mr. Adedamola Adeyeri, the FSMO Coaching supervisor, to 23 beneficiary schools, including public and private schools. These schools,  identified as part of the FSMO program, expressed gratitude for the generous donation.
